WWII is over and Lesko writes and writes and writes, 1945-2003, 2003.

This is an addition to, and some duplication of, Emil Lesko's autobiography, Whistle stop. It includes photocopies of Lesko's letters to the editor, 1994-2002; an article about him in the local newspaper, 1998; and World War II posters, maps, and photos of planes, Lesko in 1943, and his uniform in 1947; and his Navy discharge certificate.

Emil Lesko, born Emilius and nicknamed Les, was born 1 Jan. 1918 in Passaic, N.J. before the family moved near Pittsburgh, Pa. After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he attended Penn State Mont Alto and graduated from the University Park campus in 1950 with a degree in Landscape Horticulture. He has worked as a landscape architect in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and for the U.S. government on Lady Bird Johnson's highway beautification project. From the description of Whistle s...
